Nancy is a multi-awarded blogger and a recognized journalist. She won Best in News Writing in the 2009 Cebu Archdiocesan Mass Media Awards (CAMMA), Blogger of the Year in the Globe Cebu Media Excellence Awards in 2012 and 2013, placed ninth in the national rankings of the Search for Good Blog Awards in 2013, and helped an NGO win Best Institutional Website in the 2013 CAMMA. She has also helped a business group and a professional individual win international awards by writing and/or editing their entries.


Nancy is a member of the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Women in Literary Arts, Cebu Bloggers Society, Cebu Association of Communication Educators, and Media Information Network for Nutrition and Development-7. She is also a resident judge of the Cebu Blog Awards.
